Your food donations are literally the “bread and butter” of our services. The bread, the butter, the meat n’ potatoes, and everything else in between! For your next grocery shopping trip, take along this list (click the link below) of our most commonly needed items.
All grocery donations, personal hygiene products, baby items, and household cleaning products, can be dropped of at the Food Bank, Monday-Friday between 9;00 am and 2:00 pm
Plant an extra row in your garden and donate the surplus to help us provide fresh produce in our hampers.
Our desire is to see fresh nutritious food in all of our hampers. Farmers, hunters, fishermen, and avid gardeners can all help improve local food security in the community by donating some of their harvest..
Lead the effort to organize a local Food Drive or Fundraiser on behalf of the Food Bank. To get the ball rolling, contact us with your idea and click the button below to get your fundraising kit and how-to information.
Knowing that you have given your time to help feed a family in need is a rewarding experience. Our volunteers are a valuable resource to us and our community. We are always grateful to those who lend a hand picking-up donations, assisting in the warehouse sorting food, assembling food hampers and a host of other odd jobs. If you or your group are interested in volunteering, please download, fill out our volunteer application and email it to deann.little@mjfoodbank.org or drop it off Monday- Friday between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.

It happens every Halloween and we can never have too many volunteers to help coordinate, drive, collect, pack, and of course sort through the famous ‘food mountain’!
