A "Client Choice Shopping Center" is a model of emergency food distribution that enables clients to select their own food, much like a grocery store, rather than a pre-made hamper that may not meet their unique dietary needs. At our Client Choice Shopping Center ( The Harvest Pantry) we also aim to provide clients with culturally and ethnically appropriate choices.
Anyone facing Food Insecurity, those who lack regular access to enough safe and nutritious food for normal growth and development and an active and healthy life, are able to access The Harvest Pantry.
Clients facing food insecurity will now need to book an appointment for a Shopping Time.
Booking Shopping Times starts October 25th.
Note: OUR CASE WORKERS DO NOT ANSWER CALLS; TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT YOU MUST LEAVE A VOICE MESSAGE.
When you call, select (1) to leave a message with the Harvest Pantry. Please include your name and phone number, and be sure to speak clearly and slowly. A caseworker will return your call within 1 business day to set up your appointment.

Our mission is to end hunger in our community by achieving food security, preventing food waste and improving nutrition for those in need. Every day, The Moose Jaw & District Food Bank and its partners work to bring our community closer to our mission to "End Hunger".
As a local non-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing a food redistribution service to those facing food insecurity. We help reduce "Food Waste", by collecting, sorting and distributing a surplus of donated and recovered food within the community to those most in need.
The giving of time, money, and effort by compassionate and conscientious individuals and businesses in our community are the driving forces behind our mission. It is only because of our dedicated staff, and volunteers along with our community partners and donors that make our mission to "End Hunger" a possibility.
