Executive Director  

Jason is the first Executive Director of the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank. His dedication and passion for the community shines through every project he's been a part of, including his previous work with the MJFB. Jason's commitment to serving the community with purposeful vision, empathy, and compassion will take our Food Bank to new heights, as he works to implement programming that grows with our city.

Volunteer Coordinator

Terri is a "Jill of all trades" when it comes to the operations at the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank.  Terri has faithfully served the Food Bank for 20 years, starting as a part time driver, working her way to the top as the Operations Manager. It is her positive can do attitude and endless compassion for those she serves that make Terri the glue that has kept our organization together for these past several years Her dedication to and passion for her work make Terri a valuable resource in our community.

Client Resource Manager

Cheantelle joined our family in February of 2022 and has brought her energy and excitement to our newest service, the Syngage Program. Cheantelle works directly with clients and community members to provide services that support client's needs outside of food. Through Cheantelle you can file your taxes, gain assistance applying for benefits, look for work, find housing, and much more! 

Cheantelle also teaches classes in the community, and has partnered with over a dozen other agencies to ensure no client is left behind.

Food Donation & Reclamation Services

Shortly after retiring from CP Rail, Claude joined our team in 2022. Claude is a proud grandpa who  spends as much time as he can with his grandkids and looks for any excuse to visit with his friends and family.

Claude remembers everyone he meets including their name and will always greet you with a warm smile.

He  enjoys being able to serve our community in his role as driver for the

Food Bank.

Each day, Claude drives around Moose Jaw picking up donations and reclaimed food that he later sorts for hampers.

He can often be heard laughing and joking with other staff and volunteers and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out.

Client Intake Supervisor

Melisa is a long-time friend of the Food Bank, and we're so excited she's decided to come on board! Melisa works directly with clients to register them for their emergency hampers. Melisa creates a safe, non-judgmental environment that is welcoming to everyone who enters the building. Melisa works alongside volunteers to ensure a hassle-free experience for each client, and has a lot of fun doing it!

Administration and Marketing Officer

 Toni, a recent newcomer to Canada, has embraced her new environment with enthusiasm. She has stepped into a vital role at a local food bank, where she focuses on administrative tasks and marketing, with a particular emphasis on social media. Through her work, she is not only helping to streamline operations but also enhancing the organization’s online presence to better connect with the community and raise awareness. Her efforts are a testament to her dedication to both her professional growth and her commitment to supporting those in need.
